    I like the geotagging idea, but my 15 dollar geo-keyring does that anyway. Seems like a lot of "stuff" in there tbh.

    Actually, the grip looks nice - I find teh grip on the G9 to be a bit insubstantial

    Speed, shutter response and the image quality (noise) is what interests me.
    We have to wait. Or to wait for 7D :-D

    Canon and Nikon need to put APS sized sensors in their high end compacts like Sigma did. I'd imagine it won't be too long before they do.

    RRP around $500 as stated on the DPreview press release for the camera.

    Looks very interesting.

    It's an ugly looking yoke though and for $500 why would you not just buy an Olympus 420 or another similarly small SLR? 4x optical zoom is not great for a compact/bridge either...
