    Hey,

    I retuned this evening and now picking up the 8 channels. Im using a kworld usb stick but although I have picture i dont seem to be getting any audio ?? Any suggestions. This was the same when i tuned in the HD Ireland channel before the test finished ... picture with no sound. I can get sound on the radio channels but not the TV channels. All suggestions welcome. Im in Stamullen so assume that its Clermont Carn im getting as aerial is pointing that direction. Before today the i had lost the channels as expected ....

    spent some more time on this and came across a newer driver for the device.
    While I use the k-world software all is super, channels display and sound great. Now ive tried to use media center with vista ultimate (with sp1) and again all channels are detected but this time no video. Its telling me that its an audio service. Does Vista MCE not support mpeg 4??

    It doesn't support it at the moment. There is a beta version of an update going around which does work with MPEG-4 but it's "timebombed."

    Very strange using a Bush receiver or a Thompson receiver I can get the Irish channels but audio only.....:( All tested on Claremont Ceirn however my Panasonic HD TV TH-42PZ81B is giving picture and sound on all Irish services...nice

    Because those receivers are MPEG 2 only, they can't decode an MPEG 4 video signal. You will need a new STB, but they aren't that freely available over here... yet.
