    Hi,

My sister is thinking of coming up to the big smoke to buy a dress for our cousins wedding - any recommendations - nothing too expensive - something under €300 anyways - also for the larger girl (dont worry she wont see this - but no point in getting recommendations for places that would not have her size)

    Regards

Depends on what size she is...
Monsoon have beautiful dresses and stock many of them up to around size 22. Otherwise Debenhams keep some dresses in a similar size range. If you're just talking size 16/18, then most of the formalwear shops should have something to fit. Coast is always lovely, but everyone goes there so there's a risk someone else will be wearing the same. The selection of stores in Arnotts and Clerys is good odds for finding something nice too. If she's bigger than around size 20/22, then Evans is probably the best bet for a nice outfit.

Coast is very small fitting... if she's over a size 16 she'll have trouble finding something there. Other than that monsoon do a good range of dresses as do debenhams. Arnotts do up to a size 18 in most of their formal dresses.
