How do people generally feel about our chances of winning a medal in this event, or do you see it as a practice for London 2012.

Evans had the beating of that cranky kraut. Pity he couldnt pull it off. Looking forward to seeing how Magee gets on later.

Was it on bbc? I don't have interactive so when i was promised badminton at 3.10 I waited up only to see brief highlights of Schenk and an indonesian woman! What happened to Evans?

Oh and being realistic with the range of the competitors I doubt we'll get a medal this time and at the rate the chinese are going considering their badminton strength I doubt we'll get one in 2012. BUT come on Evans and Magee!

That German was a bit of a crank allright, gamesmanship on his part probably saw him through. I LOLed at the music between games, it was the Metal Gear Solid alert music, I expected to see Solid and Liquid Snake have a fistfight:)

dango: BBC covered from beginning of first session to conclusion of game before Evans then switched over to gymnastics cos there were British competitors involved. I watched the Evans game via RTE online, was pissed off that they couldnt cut away from the cycling for the thirty-five minutes or so to actually broadcast the badminton match live. Bit of a joke imo. They did show it later.

Hard to see past the Chinese alright. Been some great games already, Magee through :)

I also loled at music :D

I saw the Evans game at 5.30am approx on rte. He ws good he shoulda beat that German. Congrats to Magee as well, for getting into the second round. As I think she said her self it was great experience for London 2012.

They showed the highlights on Sundays coverage.

Congrats to both of them for getting their, and heres to 2012.
