i have to laugh thought, and people said the tavor was an ugly beast

    It is,

But strangely though, with guns it seems the uglier it is, the more we want it.,:D

I prefer the look of the F2000 without the launcher and sight but id still dive on one if it was available. Looks like the Tavor has found a replacement already.,:D

I don't understand what all the fuss is about, to me the F2000 is just a glorified P90. Don't get me worry its a nice gun, so I'm not dis-ing it or anything.

Well what I mean by nice is, I wouldn't buy one but I'd probably keep it if I somehow got one for free :D.

And I prefer the P90 over this any day :P.

Its one of the few unique bullpup rifles that take stanag mags and isn't a horrible British recycled radio mast looking thing., :D
Being G&G i have high hopes for this thing too, Even the JLS cheapo clone one is deadly but i expect the materials will be far superior if i know my G&G's. :)

no its not the granddaddy was a stoner design that the em series including the SA 80 is based on just took 30 odd years to get it working right

when did stoner design his bullpup because the EM2 entered limited service in 1951 and the first reference i can find for a stoner weapon is 1955?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,291 ✭✭✭✭Gatling

it never entered service but enfield bought the design from eugene stoner in the late 40's,

Eugene Stoner didn't start working for ArmaLite till 1954, before that he worked in aircraft manufacturing. He designed his first small arms from 1954 onward.

Anyway, what happened in small arms development during the 40's and 50's is hardly airsoft news is it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,230 ✭✭✭gerrowadat

Nice-looking vest, available in khaki as well. Probably a very decent buy for someone who wants to splash out on all the vest they'll want.
