Working Part-Time.What do I need???

    I work 17 hours a week at the moment over 3 days after finsihing college in May.

    What can I apply for?I went down to the local office and they informed me I had to go into the central office in town.

    What do I need to bring in with me?Do i need a birth cert?
    I have P60,letter from college,payslips..anything else??

    I don't see why your local office are sending you into town? did they give areason? You need to bring with you 2 forms of ID, proof of address, a letter from your job stating your hours and days. , they will get a claim started. If you quailfy is different as you should of made a claim when you started it will be hard to get it back dated from May
