    Hello,

I have a Mini DV camcorder and I want to edit my video on my Mac or XP PC. The camcorder has analog outputs while my Mac can use USB or Firewire.

    I found http://www.adstech.com/products/API-557-EFS/intro/api557_intro.asp?pid=API-557-EFS

which seems Ideal but none of the retailers listed in Europe have them in stock. I also emailed them but did not get a reply.

Peats said thay had a device in the past but do not have them in stock now.

Does anyone know where I can get a convertor.

    Thanks...

    http://www.jvc.co.uk/files/instruction_manual/lyt0957-001a.pdf

go to page 94, marked as item 22, on the side underneath where the lcd screen pops out there are some connection covered up.... there's an s-video connection and above it there should be a small rectangual connection, thats the firewire/ilink connection.

you'd need a cable like this or this depending on the connections on your pc/mac
