NAT Type 3 - problem

    Hi,
    I haven’t been able to get Bad Company online because I have a ‘NAT type 3’. I don’t know a lot about it apart from what ive been reading on the internet today. Apparently type 3 means that some online features are restricted (but only on bad company in my case).

    The solution so far from what ive read is setting the connection to a ‘DMZ’. Il try this when I get home but just wondering has anyone else is having this issue and if so what did you do about it.

    the easiset thing to try is just put the firewall settings from high to low and open the ports on the router. you can get a list of the ports off the online instruction manual on the playstation itself.

    try youtube aswell theres a few irish videos showing other ways.

    if ur with eircom or any eircom reseller use this but just use the username and password the isp gave ya
