Laptop Blu ray Question

    Hey guys im getting a laptop that comes with a blu ray drive , i wondering if i hook it up to the hdmi on my samsung 32" will i be able to use my home theater with it ???

    Home theater? That's sound and picture. The picture can go direct to your TV but the sound depends on the outputs of your laptop and the inputs of your existing home theater system. If you post up the models of both that may help.

    Been thinking, I wonder if your question is more like this? I have a 'all in one DVD system', can I play a blu ray from my laptop and get the sound output on this system?

    Perhaps you can add some detail.

    all right sound , i have a sony home theater , i will be using a hdmi for the laptop ,

    oh yes its a all in one DVD system , sorry not near the system to get the code today, it has all the modes for switching to dvd or tv or video or radio for sound,
