Homemade M1 Signs

    Looks like that looper that keeps putting up signs on the M1 (saying "Road not paid for" "Fingal Council have not paid for this road" etc etc.) is at it again.

    He's becoming very artistic too. I was very impressed by his staggered signs that were placed about 30 feet from each other, very easy on the eye.

    Does anyone know who this aggrieved lunatic is and how he was short-changed by the council??

    Saw them today. Just past the Donabate/Lusk/Rush/Skerries exit heading north. Saw them a few months ago too.

    Haven't a clue what they mean, but somebody obviously felt it important enough to risk their life putting them there.

    My guess would be that it relates to a CPO to purchase land to build the road and the protestor didn't get paid or didn't get paid what they felt the land was worth.

    Nonetheless, I did feel a pang of guilt driving on a road that wasn't paid for:D
