I've been running handhq.com for the last few months but have to close it down this weekend. To go out with a bang, I've cut the prices to next to nothing.
I'm also going to give away free 2.8 million NLH hands at any two level/sites (1.4M form each level/site) to any boardsie comes up with the best hand history/datamining related poem.
So poem away!

Yep. Its working fine (is for me anyway). Most people trip up on the password. It needs something complicated like abcd-1234 as a password. I never got around to fixing that.

iPoker hands won't import into HM I think. Not sure whats wrong with it.

do you mind expanding on the reasons you "have" to close down?

Also, perhaps the same point - what are the legalities of sharing this information. Im sure this question has been asked to you before. Does it very from site to site? (network to network)

I ask because i think the rules about it are very unambiguos, like tournament results can be measured and ranked as they are commonly available information, but i was told that on some networks dont allow this to happen with cash. But, if this is true - then how does high stakes data base function??

I don't mind at all. I have a new job with a poker company who, understandably, don't want me selling hands from their and their competitors' sites. Conflict of interest and all that.

I'm not 100% on the law, but I doubt it breaks any laws. The T&Cs of the poker sites have no bearing (any one see me agree to them?). I might try 'the data is copyright' but I think they would find it hard to push that through (international?/Irish?) court.

Seems a bit hasty? Could you not let someone you trust run the company and have a share in it while still doing your new job?

Seeing as you havent though, Im sure there was some stipulations regarding this.
