what an annoying load of sh1t

watched it with the wife for about 15mins yesterday and i'd love to thump him,

i'd get the impression that he thinks that the people watching must be enjoying this, as he got this big smug grin the whole time, yet its soo boring to watch

and what about all the hype, it was pimped during the break of any decent comedy for the last month

I saw an ad break the other day for it and it did look like a load of ****.

For a show that looks like it cost a fortune to make and a huge ammount of time its some load of bollocks. It's very poor and there are two key reasons for this. The ultrashort length of the sketches exposes the pisspoor premises ruthlessly.

There's no hiding behind sharp one-liners or snappy impressions (not that this dick can do either of those - his leaden-footed humour and jawdroppingly poor impressions seeing to that).

Secondly, Kevin Bishop naturally inclines towards comedy thuggery. He has an unerring eye for the lowest common denominator and, when pressed for a punchline, will choose the cheap shot, the base humour or schoolboy pun every time. Suggest nuance, subtlety or cleverness and Kev is all "talk to the butt".

As far as leave your brain at the door TV comedy went I thought it was very good!

I think it's a great show! No '8 Out of 10 Cats' now, but ultimately, entertaining. The Ross Kemp sketches weren't especially funny, but the Wii jokes were.

What's wrong with base humour? It's often the best kind there is! Sure anyone that doesn't enjoy a good 'n' gross joke doesn't have a decent sense of humour IMO.

Now what was truly bad last night in terms of comedy was Tonightly. Pure pants.

Don't really like it. It's disapointing because he was brilliant in Star Stories.

I've not seen a full episode but the bits I saw had me in stitches, particularly the Mrs Doubtfire skit.

I know it was really overly obvious but I nearly pissed myself at the Ramseys Nightmare bit.Really silly and moronic but cracked me up any way.Kinda reminds me of Naked Gun humour. Not usually the kind of thing I watch but thought it wa good fun, not to be taken seriously at all.

Loving this show at the moment, both episodes have had me in absolute stitches. Anybody see the Christopher Walken - Gary Lineker Crisps sketch on the pilot episode? "Lineker...what is that...sicilian?" :D:D:D

Some of the gags are a bit obvious, but overall its an enjoyable show. Some of the sketches are gas

Anyone who takes the piss out of Tim 'Wigga' Westwood is good in my books.

Not so much a gag, but nice observation on the booking team of Ross's show.

Saw the pilot for this a while back and on the strength of that watched the rest.
Refreshing humour...I really like the style and fast pace, taking the mick out of flicking through Sky, poking fun at celebs, reality TV, news, politics, even TV itself. Maybe not for everyone, but suits me to the ground, even if some of the stuff can be slightly predictable, I find that it's balanced out with clever, deeper stuff...better than most of the crap that gets passed off as comedy lately.
