    Ye that is pretty cool

I remember when I used to have an ipod mini I needed to change the battery so I attempted to open it with a thin knife.
    I succeded,
    the ipod didn't!
I was ipodless for a while. sad times!

I'm sure you've heard this but be reeeeeallly careful when opening it, sooo fragile!
you may aswell change the battery while your at it!
    Good luck!

Sorry to drag this thread back up, but never fear my 80gig iPod classic kicked the bucket so I decided I'd go for this mod as I have seen far too many HD's die in iPods and there was no way I was paying stupid money for a replacement HD, to see it act up shortly afterwards.

I know it's only 32gb but it works a treat and I would highly recommend it. The only thing is getting the 6th gen iPods open, they're a total fooker!

Mods might want to move this to the Apple Media Devices forum. :)
