Alcohol and ice cream

    Just polished off a bowl of rum and raisin ice cream with Amaretto poured over it. Yum. Another good one is Calvados + apple sorbet or vodka + lemon sorbet.

    Anyone got other good combinations?

    Havana Club, Creme de Cacao, Frangelico, Orgeat Syrup (Almond Syrup) and 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream. Blend it all together. Get a Martini glass, coco powder all around the rim of the glass. Garnish with a Cadburys Flake. Serve cocktail. Finish with a dash of Mozart Chocolate Liquor on the top.

    NICE! :D

    Vanilla ice cream blended with baileys a mint aero (or any other mint chocolate) broken down into the blender. If the consistency is too think add some milk to loosen it down.

    Pedro Ximinez (one of the Sherry grapes, when made as a single varietal generally very reach dark and treacley) goes very well with ice cream.
