Facial Suncream recommendations?

    Hello,

I currently use Garnier's Ambre Solaire Factor 30+ on my face. However I notice that it leaves a slight shine where I apply it.

Can anyone recommend any suncreams which when applied to the facial area will not be that obvious.

    Many thanks.

The best one I've come across (I've got oily skin) is Neutrogena Sheer Touch Sunscreen, they have SPF's up to 70! They're light and have a matt finish ... the only problem is you can only get it online from Australia or the US! Worth the effort in my opinion!

Edit: Try pick it up on ebay, think I got it there before ....

I used Boots Soltan Face (there's an actual face suncream in the soltan range) when I was on my hols there last week and worked perfect for me, didn't notice a shine either.

Try the La Rocha Posay suncreams, they are recommended by dermatologists and come in a range of SPFs and types. Great for sensitive skin too

i tried this stuff for a few weeks and it gave me black heads. i use Philosophy Hope in a Jar, SPF 20 now. it works pretty good and is much better for my skin than the soltan stuff. theres still a shine to it, i just pat a little cornsilk powder over it though.

I've heard great things about Clinique City Block oil free face protector. It comes in factor 25 and 40. I haven't tried it yet, but intend to pick some up when I head to the states next week. Unfortunately I haven't had much use for sun protection this year with this crappy weather.:(

I was talking with a group of make-up artists and a lot say this stuff is great. It's matte so doesn't leave your face all shiny and easy then to put on make-up over it.

I find the Clinique super city block a bit heavy and greasy for my skin, although useful when on holiday. Must try La Roche-Posay, as I love their Effaclar stuff.
