    Hi All

I am going on Holidays this weekend and had fake tan on for an occasion during the week. Has anyone any recommendations on removing fake tan. Need to have it all gone by Monday...:(:(:(

I find those exfoliating gloves you can get in boots excellent. Just use them with your shower gel and scrub scrub scrub :D

    One of two ways

    - lemon juice and sugar though I think that is for small areas that have been put on badly like feet and hands OR

a scrubbing bush (like a nail brush and plenty of shower creme) if you can lie in the bath and soften your skin for ages...and take as many showers a day as you can and rub it off bit by bit. A friend of mine was religous about doing her tan every single week and would only out tan on when the previous weeks all came off, so I am afraid you are going to have to work at it. Sorry!!!

Just have a hot bath to soften the skin then scrub with a rough facecloth. Might need a few goes for difficult areas like under the arms, etc.

St Tropez do a fake tan remover which is supposed to be pretty good, i saw some in tk maxx for €12 but its usually about €25 in chemists.

This might sound weird but carbolic soap removes fake tan on my hands.

It is quite strong so not sure about using it on other parts of your body, but assuming you moisturize afterwards I would imagine it wouldn't do any harm?

The lock down way to get fake tan off is to put Veet hair removal cream on yur legs adn then shower after the ten mins or however long it says to leave it on and bingo....not a trace of tan left. I discovered this on the morning of a wedding I was going to.

Disaster at the time but handy to know now! I find really tough exfoliation hurts too much with teh sugar ripping scratched into my legs.

    It works.
