I have a heap of coins and loose change that I want to convert to notes.

Does anyone know if there are any of those coin counting machines in shops in the harcourt street/town area?

    Do banks have these machines?

    Looking for specific details please.

    Thanks!

I don't see why you'd expect these to be in Harcourt St above other areas but the Centra in Ranelagh had one until a year or two ago. (I haven't been in there in a good while.) The only problem there is you get store credit minus a percentage. Otherwise get some bags from a bank and pack them up yourself. Go when it's quiet to cash them in or you'll get grumblings from the teller.

I think banks will just weigh them if you put like coins into separate bags.

I'm afraid I don't know of any in Harcourt Street. The only one I know of is in the Londis at the Walkinstown Roundabout.

Use the search function. I think Bank of Ireland College Green.

    Tesco Nutgrove.

I know it's miles away but I don't think there's that many of them.

The commission is around 10% isn't it? At that rate, I'd just count it myself.

Yup, it's just below that if you take it in cash. Iirc if you use it for purchases in Tescos, they give you the full value.
