Nope. You'll need a multi regional DVD player. Or if your PC has Power DVD it should work on that.

Google your make and model of dvd player with the words "region free unlock" or similar and I am fairly certain you will find a code to input to make it region free (i've done this on numerous occasions) It's really easy, what the French call "Le piece of piss" :)

most players theses days can be unlocked

i think this is your player, does say you might need to get a universal remote control

Yeah, an unlock should work ok

Its bollix that you pay more for a multiregion player. They charge ya more for less effort!

Sony's are a pain in the hole to crack, they have a tendency to jump back to region2 after a awhile, more of an inconvince, now it could just be that remote used im not sure. It can be easily done anyway!

Not if you bought it here. Many Bluray discs released in North America are region free however and cheap when bought online.

American Blu Ray is unbelievably cheap. Picked up Cloverfield and Rambo on Blu Ray and the Machine Girl on DVD all new for less than the price of Rambo on Blu Ray here in town.
