    Hey People,

Need a bit of advice as to what to do with blonde hair that I love but I can't afford to keep getting the roots done! I don't want to go totally brunette (which is my natural colour) and I'd like to keep elements of the blonde in it without going down the badger stripes route. Anyone got any ideas or pictures? anytime I try to google this its just pictures of celebrities that go from blonde to brunette!

    Thanks!

    C

i did this for my wedding as i am naturally brunette, my hair dresser put some really fine low lights under my hair (thats a really bad description, but not on top of my scalp like highlights:P) they then dyed it brunette so it all blended in to a lovely light lifted brunette colour. the next time i went completely brunette and i havnt looked back since!:D

If you really want to keep the blonde why don't you go to night classes and get it done on the cheap!

    Hey,
I recently went from Platnum blonde to brunette and i haven't looked back! its so much easier to maintain and much cheaper! One option would be to Get one or two blonde chunks scaterd underneath ur hair so that you will just see it peeping through and it wont be as full on and when you tie your hair up wit will show them. I have seen this on a few people and think it looks nice!

I've got naturally dirty blonde hair which I hate. I had blonde highlights in it for the past year, but it was really drying out the ends and too expensive to maintain. Last week I got a brown base colour in my hair with lighter tone lowlights. Not totally brunette but still darker and will hopefully easier on my wallet to maintain.
