Finished off my latest project in the last few weeks: the Mustang now has fuel injection :)

It starts much easier and is more drivable, sounds silly but its much smoother. i got a kit that replaced the carb with a throttle body with injectors in it, i fitted all the sensors, the computer and it fired right up.

Its not a conversion for the faint of heart, I had to do a fair amount of bodging and it still requires a bit of tuning, it also was not cheap, but with the dollar so low you have to buy stuff!

anyone has any questions feel free to ask, I don't have any pics as it looks stock.

    Well done you. :)

How different is the sound without the carbs?

Its not as rough, the exhaust is still the same note, but it idles much smoother. What is annoying is I put the fuel pump on the firewall and its a bit like a blender when priming, need to move it. It does still have that lovely v8 sound.

There really isn't anything to look at(which is the effect I was after), the throttle body is identical to a carb, so even with the air filter off you wouldn't be able to tell. I'll take some pics and put them up in the next few days.
