Is it possible to repair and/or replace a bust AC pipe on a mondeo 2001?

I am looking at a 400e bill from the stealers, the pipe is 95e, I can get a free top up from someone and my brother is a mech so could possibly do the pipe job?

    cheers.

Have you tried a breakers yard?

If the dealer can do it then Im sure its possible!
As for the cost, I presume this also includes regassing the system? If so then it is fairly reasonable (2-3 hours labour included). However if your bro is a mechanic why not ask him directly?

I've used this forum for issues with my wifes mondeo. They'll answer any query you have.
