Right, I've got a right pain of a BSOD here. The blue screen as it gives me as it tries to load up the desktop:

PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGED AREA

    The STOP code is 0X50

    Physical Memory Dump....blah blah.

    Now, I've done these:

    Chkdsk
    Windows Repair
Can't boot into any kind of Safe Mode, especially with Command Prompt
Have replaced the RAM so that rules out any physical problem with that.

This thing has driven me soft and I don't want to resort to wiping and reinstalling Windows until last. Just wanna see if you guys got any ideas I could be missing out on?

EDIT: I will shoot anyone who says something like "Try right-clicking on......." :P I.E. I can't get into the desktop at all, not even in Safe Mode

Dare i say, have you googled it.
Windows says its when installing windows but an error code is an error code.

    The problem they say is
    CAUSE

This error message may be caused by faulty memory (RAM) in your computer.
    RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, replace the faulty RAM.

    Could that be your problem?
Not being condecending, just ticking off the list of things it could be.

He's already replaced the ram. The problem may not be just faulty ram, it could be faulty vram either or even cache. It could also be a fooked pci card. Try using a different graphics card and removing all the pci cards.

Whats your configuration? if thats not the ram, maybe you have some hardware conflict.
I had that recently, some nvidia cards are not very cooperative with audigy cards on nf4 chipsets.
    Maybe you have something similar.

I fixed the problem...........wipe & resetup. Bah, it beat me!

It wasn't a hardware problem, definitely. That BSOD in particular is usually associated with RAM but more often than not it's down to a corrupted page file which is a bitch to fix. Thing was though since I couldn't log in under no circumstances I couldn't use command prompt.

Every command possible was used in Recovery Console but to no avail. Normally I would've wiped the thing after a few go's but I didn't want to with this specific laptop, important programs and all were on it.

    Anywho, problem solved. Cheers anyways.
