Are humans red meat or white meat?

my only clue to run on is hannibal lecture saying we taste like chicken, and that we are supposable quite similar to pigs so I guess that means we are white meat?

Depending on what sort of meat we are what kind of dishes do you think would be best to cook yourself?

Are you considering cooking human meat? Your post seems to be heading in that direction.....:) Can you clarify that for me.

Pigs are red meat surely? We're probably a pale red colour.

Effectively human meet would be the absolute perfect source of amino acids for us.:D

That's a fantastic question! I'd always presumed we were red meat but now that you ask, I'm just not sure.

It did seem very odd the way he phrased his opening post. Very confusing!!!

    white meat.

buring human flesh smells like pork, which i reckon is where all these religions got the idea of steering clear of the pig stuff. wee bit too close to canabalism for em :)

I'd be almost sure that we're red meat. The only white meat is poultry and fish.

I'm guessing white like pork so to cook it'd be

    Medium

    30mins per 450-500g (1lb) + 30mins

Roast to internal temp of approx 75-80°C

    Well Done

    35mins per 450-500g (1lb) +35mins

Roast to internal temp of approx 80-85°C

    Temperature

    Pre-heat oven to Gas mark 4-5, 180°C, 350°F

I think id enjoy the cannibalistic part of being trapped on a desert island. Let someone else do the killing and skinning etc, but as long as I get a tasty shin kebab at the end, who cares?

Would be interesting. Definitly something to add to the rampage once I turn 80 and don't want to live any more.

    Great thread title LOL.

Aren't we a combination- something to do with fast/slow muscle fibres types..or something... that's probably totally wrong tbh.

    Cannibalism forum FTW.

    really?

    wow

so there would be different cooking instructions depending on what part hmmm.

that complicates things quite a bit.
