Tickets also available in City Discs, Temple Bar, and in Plug'D Records, Cork....

Should be a wild one. Blaze's post Maiden stuff is highly regarded.

Will head to this - hope he gets a better turn out in Dublin than last time 'round. New album is pretty good.

Tickets still on sale for this. You'd be advised to get the Cork ones in advance since that offers the biggest saving when compared to the price on the door.

New album is indeed supposed to the shizzle. Haven't had the chance to listen to it in its entirety yet though.

Bloodline Tattoos will be in attendance, offering a night of custom tattooing for all patrons who want to splash for one.

You can check out a selection of their work at www.bebo.com/bloodlinetattoos.

Since Bloodline will be there that night we'll open early for those wanting some work done...

PM's please if you want to book time. It's custom work mainly so bring an idea of what you want done if at all possible.

How are they going to set up a sterile environment in Fibbers though so the tattooing can be done hygienically???

Whoops - meant to mention that Bloodline will be at the Cork show only; it's a business arrangement between Acheron Promotions and Bloodline Tattoos...

If yer at the Cork show feel free to let us know and we'll be happy to tattoo things on you.

We hope that it will ultimately add to the overall experience of Cork metal gigs...

The question still stands though. How do they plan on setting up a clinical environment for the artists so they can follow proper Health and Safety protocols?

Ah, I assumed you were taking a pop at Fibbers.

Well, unless you're casting aspersions on the generaly hygiene of the Cruiscin it's reasonably simple...

The artist will be given a secure, cordoned off, area from which he can operate. All of his material will be sterilised, as you'd expect from any professional in his business. There are dozens of tattoo festivals operating out of tents in fields so I don't think it's 'out there' to suggest that in a more controlable environment that we can expect a higher level of cleanliness.

Where can I get tickets for the dublin gig?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,125 ✭✭✭lee_arama

Dublin tickets should be available from Sentinel Records (next to the Foggy Dew) and/or from Fibber's itself.

Hope ya feel like buying a Cork ticket too, in which case City Discs in Temple Bar will have them...

Just 3 weeks to go to this 1st ever Blaze Bayley appearance in Corcaigh. No excuse for the multitude of Maiden fans out there to be missing this.

Tickets are also available from sound cellar, nassau street for 14 euro or fibbers on the night for 15 euro (for the dublin gig).

Just 2 weeks to go until this tour kicks off.

Blaze Bayley has cancelled all BUT the Irish gigs until next year...

This is the ex-singer from Iron Maiden people, absolutely no reason not to be considering going to one of these shows...

Never heard any of his stuff before but I might pop along to fibbers.

This may well be Blaze's last time in Ireland...

Tragically his wife is in poor condition and our prayers go out to her.

    www.planetblaze.com for updates.

With great sorrow we must announce that Debbie. Blaze's wife, has passed on following her tragic illness.

Naturally it must be expected that the Irish tour will now be cancelled.

We ask that all fans and wellwishers would light a candle or take a solemn moment to offer up prayer in their own fashion.

Debbie's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 7th October 2008,
at St Pauls Church Dosthill (UK) at 2 pm.
Followed by Committal at Sutton Coldfield Crematorium 3pm.

Flowers welcome or donations if preferred to the:
    A.V.M. Group
    c/o Tamworth Co-operative funeral service
    The Mews,
    Upper Gungate

    United Kingdom

As you might know, Debbie was also Blaze's agent and tour manager. The band considered her wishes before reluctantly cancelling the Irish tour but new dates have been decided upon.

Blaze Bayley and band will return in April of 09, namely the 9th, 10th, and 11th.

Tickets for all shows are still on sale and any which were bought for the October shows will be valid for April.

Acheron, Light of Day, and BnB Promotions would like to take the time to say thank you to all of Blaze's Irish fanbase for the kind words sent to him over the past week.

With the holidays almost upon us I take the opportunity to remind people that all online sales for these shows are still available, and that tickets for the Cork show specifically can be purchased from Plug'd Records, Cork, as well as City Discs, Temple Bar, and from Tickets.ie themselves.

Acheron wishes all a Happy Christmas.

The re-scheduled Dublin tour is set for Friday April 10th in Fibbers. Am i missing something or is that good friday, a national holiday where its illegal for any pub to open?

You;d be righ. No idea why those dates are listed that way. Good Friday is Belfast and Cork is Saturday, Dublin Sunday.

Belfast can open on a Friday obviously.
