Since I don't think the PS3 is region free........... Is there any software/updates that makes the PS3 region free for blu ray movies? Thanks

it's region free for ps3 games thats all, there is notthing you can do if the blu ray is region locked but some are not locked

There used be a region free disc for dvds on the PS2, so i preume one will eventually come out for the PS3.

Sony will update any flaws out so swap discs, chips or anything else don't work.
if you don't update you can't play online or use newer games after a while
