Anyone know if its possible to wire and rca cable to an rf socket ?

I'm taking a portable DVD player to Lanzarote & know that the tv in the place we're staying only has an rf input...vd only has an rca (phono output)

    Any ideas ??

You'll need a modulator to convert the base band video/audio (RCA plugs) to an RF signal carried by the co-axial. It will need to be capable of modulating the audio/video onto a channel which the TV can receive.

    You'll need something like this:-
    http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?criteria=RF%20modulator&source=15&SD=Y

you'll need to make sure that it can modulate the signal onto a channel which can be received by the TV in question.
