The Nero logo wont even come up in the my computer section. I installed it on XP a couple weeks ago and I put the disc in and it came up on its own

If the CD (or your CD drive) is faulty download the trial version . You should still be able to register the product with the key on your CD sleeve .

I have a compatability issue with version 7 when vista 1st come out, i then discovered a 3rd party mod of nero called nero lite, which basically has all the crap and bloat stripped out of it, you still need a valid nero license key
    to use it.

But after using this id never go back to using the real nero again.

Either get this or get a download from nero site and us the cd license key on you cd sleeve

Are you running the setup from a download file or from an retail Nero cd??

    Is it a legit install??
