    Hello All,

Im not sure if this has been discussed..I tried a little searching.

I have UPC/Chours digital TV connected to my CRT telly via Scart.
I really want to get rid of the TV and just use my PC as my TV too.

How can I connect the Digital box to the Monitor/PC ?
I have a video card in the PC that can take Svideo, the Yellow video connector, Audio, and a coax connector.

the PC has windows media centre on it...

Any advice (perhaps a how to link or previous thread) would be much appriciated

    Thanks in advance
    Alan

You'll probably get a lot more help in the HTPC forum instead of here:

A mod can probably move the thread for you.

I've also answered your initial question about connecting the NTL box to the PC here:

It is certainly possible to do what you want and it shouldn't be too hard, though some additional info would help:

    - Do you have Windows XP Media Center or Windows Vista Home Premium/Ultimate?
    - What's the make and model of the TV card you want to use? If you bought the PC pre-built, with Media Center installed, then the card should be compatible but if you added it yourself later on, there is a chance that Media Center won't support it. You can still use it to get the TV signal in, it just won't be as complete and nice a solution as using Media Center itself.
