What's the best bargain you ever got in a sale?

Mine was when I worked in Zara and a guy was bringing back a wine leather jacket he had bought for his wife but it was too small. He had no receipt so we were only able to offer him an exchange at the price it was scanning at on the day... €19.90! He had paid €129 for it! I was convinced that he would take it away with him, but no, he exchanged it and I was able to get my greedy little paws on it! So after my staff discount it only cost €16.91, definitley my best bargain ever.

There doesn't seem to be much in the way of bargains in the sales this year. Maybe all the staff have bagged the best ones!

Not in a sale, but i was bringing down a bag of clothes to the local charity shop on saturday. While waiting at the counter for a person to serve me, I was looking at the jewellery display and saw this lovely silver and turquoise necklace, so I decided I was having it. I thought it might be a fiver or so....

Most of my clothes were in the sales i can't resist a bargain.I got 2 dresses, a top and a shirt for 70e in warehouse before and they were gorgeous.i love warehouse dresses but have to wait for the sales anyway bargains are better.m:D

Save money, and then hit the sales. Bargains a-plenty.

I love promod.....did you buy from shop or online, it seems they have suspended delivery to ireland at the mo too far for me to travel to Athlone!

I bought it online, I saw that this year they stopped sending them to Ireland. I mailed them to find out why and they said they just send them to Ireland and that's all. Use someone else's address if you any friend in France, Germany or England.
Today my last Promod package arrived. The sales are over for this summer.

I love TK Maxx, my haul so far has included a Tommy Hilfiger cord blazer jacket for €40, Seven skinny jeans for €30 amongst other things.

Most recently I was in TK Maxx in Newry and after rummaging about for a while, I found a See By Chloe skirt- it's a little mini skirt but the fit is oh-my-god, it's got a little pleat in the front and 2 small pockets, it only cost me £18, it probably retailed at nearly €150 at full price.
