Putting radio from honda into a ford

    i got an old car cd player form a honda civic and want to stick it into a ford escort but the connections are different, is there any adapters or anything i can get for this?

    Yeah, you need to know what type of radio you have, what type of connectors your going into, im assuming its a make of radio and not just a ford/hondo headunit!

    no its a standard honda head unit, took it straight out of a civic because it had a cd player, will have to check the connections later, dont have the car here

    What year is the civic. Most car makers have different connectors for radio, depending on year, id say a trip, with year escort and year civic, to a motor factors that do audio equipment wil sort you out

    The ford probably has an ISO connection whereas the Japanese radio is probably different. Go to motor factors and get an ISO adaptor for a ford escort. will cost bout €15, well mine did

    The stereo will have a Honda connector on it, and you won't be able to get ISO->Honda adapter looms, you can only get Honda->ISO adapters. There is no market in putting Honda stereos into other cars.

    You'll need to do a but of cutting and splicing.
