Removing original radio from opel astra 1997

    Im asking this for for my friend who bought a 1997 opel astra earlier tonight, I told him Id give him the cd player I had in my own car because i bought one of those dvd player ones. Anyway could someone please tell me how in gods name you get the original radio/cassete out of the car, its one of those blaupunt(sp?) ones. I thought it would be more or less the same as my own car but I couldn't of been more wrong lol

    Any help will be very much appreciated :)

    go into hlafords and and ask for a headunit release tool. They might want to take a look at the radio to confirm the tool so go in your friend's astra
