    i currently have a d40 but came across a d1. i know its about 5/6 yrs old but is it still a good camera

    Off the top of my head its 4mp and 8fps?Can't see there being any image quaility difference betwen a mint D1 and a D40 but id watch out for the acuations!

    d40 defo

    image quality will be hugely different

    thats now nearly 3 generations old, noise is pants on it, its been round so long its prob not in great nick inside.
