I am a CO and I am appyling for a career break to go to college for the year.

The course I am doing is not related to my job in any way though.

I have filled in the form and I was about to submit it today when I realised that I should attach a cover note on it, make it a bit more personal cos of the recession (and my parents scaring the bejaysus of me when they heard I was going to college, they dont believe in it!!) I want this job to come back to..

What exactly should I put on the cover letter??

I am usually useless when it comes to these type of letters, especially giving notice so I am really stumped.. and ideas?
