I am going to book tickets for a late showing of The Dark Knight tomorrow and just want to know how the booking system works as I have never used it before. is there a separate queue for pre-booked tickets or will I have to queue up like before? I would like to know this as time won't be on my side for getting there

There are credit card machines over on the right hand side as you walk in which print your tickets. I have never, ever seen a queue at them.

Just a piece of advice though. If you're going with friends book all the tickets at once from the same credit card. I went to The Dark Knight of friday and ended up sitting beside random people as my two friends booked using one card and I used mine.

Of course, if it's not sold out then you could probably sit where you want.

be careful though, the credit card machines are rediculousnt old so dont understand "oddly shapped" cards, so if you have one opf those cards (mastercard ones mainly) with one of the corners rounded off itll get stuck in the machine after giving you your tickets and youll have to find someone with a key to get it out for you! (happened to me when iwent to see pulp fiction)

are you serious? I have one of those mastercard student cards. was that the only time you used the card in the machine?

ye it was, it just took the card, read it, printed the tickets then said "thank you" without giving it back to me, i had to go to the guy on the bottom of the stairs who called his manager who came down wit hte key! (must happen all the time) theres a sign on the machine saying "please do not insert irregularly shapped cards" which is rediculous coz you have already paid for teh tickets by that point!

I don't recall seeing any such sign on them the last time I used them (which was only a few days ago) and have used those exact cards in the machines recently as well. It'll be fine.
