The CONGU handicapping system would have all GUI clubs the same i'd say.

I don't know, my club uses Howdidido, is in GUI and uses CONGU and I only lost .3 until I went to 8.5.

Howdidido is a commercial glorified results page so it is irrelevant.

Golfnet is the only official online-word on this.

My Golfnet shows 9.4 gets cut by .2 per net differential (ND) shot.

I think this (.2) is the case up to 12.4 but I know for sure that 9 is definitely not cut in .3s.

The point of the CONGU system is intended to make every club's handicap system the same so i'd be very surprised if your club made its own rules up.

If that was the case, I'd apply to be handicap secetary next year, cut myself to scratch and play in the East of Ireland in a disgraceful pair of Oakleys with a yellow Pinnacle Distance.

At least your vokeys wouldn't chew them babies up! I'd say your Handicap sec is considering whacking you down to scratch after you won three in a row anyway...

I meant more that they can't change the fundamentals of how the system works in that way that Stringy had suggested he thought his club had.

I'm off 21 which is crap I know but I can never seem to get anything more than 34 or 35 points! any tips in how to reduce this!! it seems my game around the green is what is killing my score
