    I watch Damage last night on RTE and could not believe the crap acting. While the subject matter was the rape of a young girl I felt personally raped of my time having watched this drivel.

    Anyway yeah, a lot of the stuff on Irish TV is utter crap. The only things I watch these days are construction/building shows, like American Chopper and a few discovery chan things.

    Isnt American Chopper on Channel X? Not sure there is much construction in it, but they do have so impressive erections :)

    Your thinking of 'Damages' not 'Damage'.

    Fair City is where mediocre actors go to do whats called 'North Dub Angry Huffy Puffy' Method acting.

    God if I was on that show I would be as miserable as they are.

    The sets are the only thing more wobbly than the acting.

    I saw yer man Blackie Connor from Glenroe and PJ Gallagher aka Jake Stevens at the weekend, and told em what a fine job they'd done. Glenroe was the biz tbh.

    I think you'll find that Irish tv is doing just fine.

    Anyone who has spent any time abroad will see the Irish Media as a nepotistic 20th century dinosaur.

    Tubridy = Bad Leno Clone 20 years too late
    Kenny = Misfiring Lori Schaffear wannabe
    Ann Doyle = Chicken Necked Death Announcer
    Sharon Ni B = Good for the odd spank but ultimately no where near as sexy in real life.

    Irish Drama - Death Death Misery Drugs
    Irish Documentaries - Remember the time all those people died Part 102
    TG4 - why?

    Irish Sport - Pompous ol lads desparate to regain their halcyon days and trendy metrosexuals chatting about the lastest transfer

    And Nuacht, seriously how many times do we need to know someone is dead in a dead language!!!
