    putter.jpg

Had been suffering a mini-crisis up to now, 3 putting way too often.

I know it's early days but if today's putting has anything to go by my only regret is that I didn't buy this putter months ago. It's fantastic :)

That always happens with a new putter..After a couple more rounds you will see that it is not the putter that is doing the 3 putts..It is yoreself

Have to agree. Its the same with a new driver. Great for the first round or two but then the old problems cree back in there!

    Haha,

I putted sheeeyyiiiite-ahhhh (as Liam Gallagher might say) the first day I got my new Odyssey Tour #1 but since then have gotten the hang of it and have been putting quite well.

It's a game of confidence...if your confident with the club in your hand, you'll play better. I use a really old Odyssey blade putter and my mates think i'm mad to use it but I lvoe it and my putting is probably the best part of my game!

Have to disagree mate, this one definately makes putting easier.
Had a Ping Anser for years, putting went to bits but I persisted, in the end just looking down at the old putter when I was about to putt reminded my of missing.

This new one is better weighted, has a better feel/balance and definately makes putting the ball easier.

Granted it's only been 1 round so far, I'll let you know if I still feel the same way about it in a months time.

I agree, the difference in feel between my old putter and my current one is night and day. The new one just suits me better and I've therefore been putting solidly since I got it.

I would agree too. This putter is face balanced and that is a big asset to have in a putter especially in comparison to an old Ping Anser and the alignment aid should also benefit.

(I remember reading somewhere that Dave Pelz recommends all players with a hcp above 10 to use a face balanced putter. Don't suppose it would do anyone below that any harm either.)
