i bought a dress in Zara for me bro's wedding in spain. Its a hard colour to describe and i cant find a pic online.Its a blue-grey colour, kinda like the greyish colour that is used for Boards.ie(the lighter blue-grey colour). i want to brighten the dress up as it is in spain and dont want to look dull.i was gonna put a different colour band under the bust, or maybe get corsage/flower thing to pin on it.

then shoes and bag.Now i know that silver would be the safe option, but id like to do go something different...something that you wouldnt think would work but when put together looks really well..am i asking too much..i dont mind paying a bit for shoes(not designer now or anything) if i would wear them again(hence the not wanting silver sandals-not likely to be worn again)

nude coloured shoes are knocking about and can make you look taller, plus it won't distract from the dress, at least thats what the mags say. i think the flower/cosage idea is good and maybe a nice hair piece.

Hmm without seeing the dress it's hard to know. What about hot pink of turquoise shoes? They would be really striking against a grey/blue dress.

I think these two examples could also be worn casually with jeans or a skirt so you'd get good wear out of them and I don't think the heels are too big either.

I think a mulberry/pinky-red coloured shoe would be nice with the grey. The colour you decide on needs to be a muted tone.

Having seen the dress as an example of the colour I would go for the pink shoe.

I think a bright yellow band under the bust would look great and brighten the dress up a good bit. But putting what colour shoes with it then I'm having trouble giving suggestions....
