I am tired of spending over the odds for jeans. Even for wranglers.

I am not a fan of the torn or worn style of jeans.

Just basic durable jeans with a nice regular to loose fit.

I saw jeans in Pennys the other day. They looked ok. What is the quality of these like?

Penneys/Primark jeans are not of good quality. Invest in a decent pair of Levis - lots of sales on now so you should get a pair at a good enough price.

    Wranglers?! Pennys for men....

:(:( This saddens me greatly. Just go to River Island or something if you dont wanna spend

Are there branches of d2 in Cork? They often have Levis and Wranglers on 'buy one pair get second pair half price' deals.

Of course there's Tesco too - they used to have jeans for a fiver - you'd see construction workers buying them every weekend rather than wash them, they were so cheap. Maybe they still have them ;)

you can't beat a good pair of levii's tbh.

g star have good quality as well but it's fecking hard to find a pair that doesn't have something wrong with them (rip here, uncessary pocket there etc)

i like american eagle jeans as well, they have a really nice fit and are quite durable and when they are like 2 pairs for $50 you can't really go much wrong.

Can't beat the jeans in Unique, plenty of different styles and they're all under €40 afaik.

*dons his unique guy ad voice*

    leather jacket 50 euro
    bootcut jean 40 euro

the irony in the name of the store is quite amusing tbh.

Well they're hardly going to call it 'ubiquitous for men' are they.

    Actually that sounds kinda good.

Next have a big selection and all nicely cut and well made. Anywhere from €30-€90ish I think. TK Maxx always seem to have really baggy jeans. Never found a pair I liked there.
I find most Levis too tight aroung the thigh. The lenght, waist, shins would all be fine but the thighs would squeez my leg when I sat down. Nasty while driving. Tried a fair few fits as well. Wrangler boot cuts are nicer imo.

Can't go wrong with Jack & Jones jeans. I bought a pair before I left Ireland 18 months ago and they're still in top nick. Only jeans I own too and I'll be buying another pair when I go home next year.

I got some jeans from Penneys and they're great, perfect fit and all!

Theres 2 routes you can take

Either by a couple of expensive jeans, that will last a long time

Or just buy lots of cheap pairs. I buy mine from Penneys and Unique etc. Most are gank, but ye'll find nice ones if ye try on a good few pairs. They wouldnt last as long as the more expensive brands, but it doesnt matter cos they only cost €20, as opposed to €350 :)

Jack & Jones like Xavi said are cheap and last forever, many of them are made in the same factory as Diesel ones so the stitching etc is good
