I have found that a good way to make smoothes is to use ice cube trays. Pour natural yoghurt into the ice cube trays, and when frozen pop them into a plastic bag and leave in freezer. This way you always have frozen yoghurt and it is in small enough pieces so that it can blend easily.

Its also a good idea to do this to fruit, for example we had a load of bananas which had gotten very ripe, almost over ripe, so I blended them up with some other fruit, which was also very ripe, and poured into ice cube trays. In this way u can have access to lovely fruit when ever u want and its ice cold.

I did this to a raspberry bush which was growing outside our house and I now have about a stone of frozen raspberries in the freezer, while none remain on the plant anymore.
