    ive finished 1st year engineering but im currently unsure of whether or not i want to continue so im thinking of taking a year out...

    is it too late now? how do i apply?

    It's worth considering why you're unsure whether you want to continue or not. Perhaps sit down with an engineering student in final year or someone who has finished or a lecturer to assess why you're not enjoying it? It's possible that you mightn't like the first two years but will like the final two so it's worth finding out exactly what's involved.

    I'd recommend talking to your tutor as well.

    I had the same problem in first year but it was more to do with not knowing what to do. I did second year and I knew what I wanted to do after it. There is a lot to take in, in First Year. Give second year a chance and see how you get on. After that it becomes more focused

    1st year engineering seems to be very rough by all accounts.

    Its not that its 1st year engineering. Its just first year in college. Can take a bit to get used to
