pc cannot see Iomega drive

    It was working.Tried almost everything.Re-installed drivers.Re-started pc .
    It is rotating but just cant get into it.Same on the sony vaio which has vista.
    If I go into manage->storage still cant see it.
    Is it possible to get the info back?
    Im getting that ding dong sound when I plug it in.

    under manage->I can see the drive in the usb controllers & Disk drives St 350082 0 AS.Telling me thats it an usb device.
    But i cant communicate with it.

    my stepdad got an Iomega drive the other week - it would work in some machines but not in his. it was odd. Ultimately he took it back :/

    could it be that the drive isnt getting enough power from your USB port?

    tried it on 2 pc's the same issue.
