Hmmm it looks like i'm gonna be around the north of Italy for the first round of matches. Perhaps Milan v Bologna. Although we could be anywhere around there or even further south/east really.

Anyone know what it'd like getting tickets and how much they are in general for serie A games?

You might have to register before hand with your passport and tickets for the good games can be expensive (Roma vs Lazio cost me 90 quid in 2001 but Juve vs. Spezia only cost me 30). Most of the good teams websites will have an english translation and if you are really stuck I speak a bit of Italian so I could help you out. If you are around the north you should head to Genoa for Samp vs. Inter.

Cheers man for that. Yeah thats one of the other games i was looking at alright. Doesn't seem like tickets are available yet for the matches though.

Whats the deal with resales do you know? I've seen on a few of the teams sites a section for this which lists a load of shops where i imagine you can pick up these resale tickets?

I don't know what you mean exactly by resales but when I went to the Juve game at the end of last year I was living in Milan and had to get a Metro to the back of beyonds to find some Juventus loving petrol station that officially sold tickets to the match that for some reason I couldn't get at Ticketmaster. Finding those shops can be an absolute bitch if you're not in the city of either the home team or the away team.

On the other hand, if you're going to a home game it's just a matter of finding the official team shop and they can sell you a ticket. There's normally at least 3 per club in the big cities and at least one is close to the main street in most of them and they should be listed on the website of the club. The Roma one for example is just off their Grafton street and it's a pretty similar situation with Juve

I've only been to one serie A game in recent times and it was Inter-Roma last year so I'm no expert but tickets were very cheap and easy to get. We paid 15 euro and the seats weren't bad at all. For the san siro you can just go the ground and there's a ticket office outside, you'll have to bring a form of id with you.

I imagine its similar enough for AC Milan serie A matches, I saw them against Celtic in the Champions League and it was pretty much the same story as above for Inter-Roma

I don't know exactly what i mean by resales either!:D Just the term is used on the sites with a list of these shops. Those official shops sound like they could be a decent bet, would give a bit more flexibility seeing as i'm not sure exactly which city we'll be in.

Thanks for the reply. Seems like it shouldn't be too hard to find some anyway. 15 euro is really cheap for an Inter-Roma game!

What channel are the games going to be on this season? I didn't get to see a single game last year because it was on Channel 5 or whatever:(
