I've just got into the whole blogging thing in an active way and I've been wandering around blogrolls for the past week being thoroughly impressed by people!

Any blogs you'd recommend?

There's a few I read regularly, Primal Sneeze is one I'd recommend. (primalsneeze.com)

Of course many believe that the blog of Mark Walsh (walsho.net) is the finest site to ever grace the blogosphere :P

elmyra, it totally depends what you are interested in. A good place to start if you are Irish is have a look through the blogs that were nominated in the Irish Blog awards at http://www.awards.ie and browse around until you see something you like (and then pay special attention the the blogroll on that one).

A surprisingly good source for recommendations is Google Reader. If you subscribe to your feeds using Google Reader, there is a smart 'recommendations' page that has given me some good stuff in the past.
