A long hot bath and a facecloth, then scrub.

I'm pretty sure you can buy fake tan removal wipes, I've gotten them up north but haven't been looking for them down here so I dunno..

If it's just orangehandandfeet syndrome then a soaking in lemon juice, nail polish remover or (cheap!!) vodka generally does the trick!

Get into the shower/bath with a good hard facecloth (texture of a bath towel that's been washed and dried without conditioner) and scrub with liberal amounts of shower gel.

Don't use white spirits to scrub fake tan off your skin... Ever...

If this is true then I would see a doctor mate, something has gone wrong somewhere.

i dont see the appeal of fake tan. 7/10 cases look horrible and pure obvious and i know several girls who insist on going orange daily, but imo look better without a drop of the stuff.

Why must every thread on boards about this topic descend to this?

Your opinion - duly noted and ignored.

    lulz...

you'd be surprised the amount of times i've hung out with girls who've bitched about other girls and fake tan, only for them girls to arive a few min later only to have the girls tell the fake tan lover that they look gorgeous or fantastic while i sit in the corner trying not to burst my arse laughing

just put sugar into your shower gel and it works as an exfolient which should get most of th tan off.

Never heard of that!!! Must try it... i find a hard texture face cloth is good but there are always the tough areas that remain patchy and you're raw trying to get it off by the end of the shower.:(

That's still nothing to do with this thread though.

    GOOD!!!!:)

Besides, some of us have it down to a fine art, you know. I consider myself amongst the 3/10 people who've been applying it for so long that I'm now an orange/streak free zone. people always think I've been away the day after I do it. So we're not all hideous looking oompa loompa's.;)

But it is a beatch to get off.

Only if the person has chosen the wrong colour for their skin tone! And if it really looks that bad something's gone seriously wrong! Maybe they need to go get their eyes tested?! (not quite the doctor, but close enough....)

If tan is done well, or isn't plastered on, then it can look really well. The whole idea is only to use enough to get rid of the ultra white or 'pasty' look from the skin, not to turn orange! There's nothing worse that girls (or guys!) who go around looking orange... A tone down would look a whole lot better.

Sugar scrub has never worked for me, so I'll give the lemon juice a go, as well as keeping an eye out for the 'tan removal' wipes.

    Nailpolish remover or shaving foam.

Soak in the bath is the best job- dry off with rough dry towel. stay in the bath till your wrinkling up. 2 baths should do it!
