From what I see, the toshiba has been discontinued.. so I guess that only leaves you with the Samsung.

I have to dispute the idea tha Laptops Direct are easy to deal with. I have spent the past 2 months trying to return a faulty laptop (faulty out of the box) with little to no success. They don't respond to email or their own emessage system. You ring their Irish number and get directed to a premium rate phone line in the UK for any support or customer service. They automatically try to get you to RMA a faulty laptop to the manufacturer rather than accept the responsibility themselves.

Absolute nightmare to deal with if you have a problem is my own experience. They were supposed to have a courier out to me today to pick up this faulty machine and once again nothing materialised!

I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole again. Probably fine if you never ever require any help.

    Pardon the rant..

If you're interested in a netbook style of machine check this thread. A €379 MSI wind clone from PC World might do the trick.
