#1 I think a different crop, maybe to get rid of the clouds up top somewhat, would give a better result. At the moment I find them a bit distracting.

    Stunning photo though.

Horses for courses but I'd leave #1 alone. I think the clouds and tree add to the picture. What I would do though is clone out the telegraph pole in the distance and crop the pillar jutting up from the bottom.

Great shots, love the colour. Was there much post processing done? I would agree with challengemaster about maybe a crop of the clouds in #2, and also with ballyman about cloning out the telephone poll.

But great shots, i really like the incorporation of the tree in the 1st shot, although a slight crop might do well there too.

C&C was asked for so Ok:

I think all three are decent attempts at sunsets/sundown, but not in any way exceptional.

They appear to have been taken between Belclare and Killadangen outside Westport. The sunsets here can be spectatular between mid June and mid August.

However all shots appear to have been metered on an average basis, resulting in a kind of bland exposure. There is little foreground, mid or indeed farground interest, so colour becomes the main feature and that doesn't carry the shots imo..

From experience, there are spectactular sunsets to be captured here between end of June to the beginning-mid- August.

Whilst the shots are nice, using a tripod and waiting until the sun has set below the horizon can give much more spectactular results imo.

    T.

A good first try, but to me something is wrong, it doesn't look natural. I would think that the white balance is on the high side, if you shot in RAW it might be worth having a fiddle.
