We're very excited to announce that 4Music is now a brand spanking new TV channel.
    Hooray!

Continuing Channel4's already legendary music output, 4Music will launch with exclusive live coverage of the V Festival on August 16 and 17, with headline sets from The Verve and Muse. Following that we'll be bringing you Bestival, featuring Amy Winehouse headlining a festival for the very first time. You'll also get to see Orange RockCorps powered by Sony Ericsson, the unique music-led volunteering programme that climaxes with a star-studded concert at The Royal Albert Hall.

That's not all. Your favourite C4 music shows will all be on the new 4Music channel too, including the critically acclaimed Live from Abbey Road and 4Music Presents. We'll also see the return of Vodafone TBA, T-Mobile Transmission and Ibiza Rocks with Sony Ericsson. 4Music will also show concerts from the world's biggest bands and performers, and will feature well known music talent in programmes such as The Sunday Night Project, and hilarious spoofs from Star Stories. With video exclusives and many familiar faces from the T4 and 4Music family such as Alexa Chung, Nick Grimshaw, Miquita Oliver and Steve Jones, 4Music will quickly become your favourite new channel.

4Music will be available from August 15 on Sky channel 360, Virgin 330 and Freeview 18. See you there!

Yes it's replacing The Hits, more or a rebrand. I believe weekends on The Hits are 4Music branded already.
