MY 7 month old yorkshire terrier lost one of his teeth today. Is this normal? Do i need to bring him to the vet?

Absolutely nothing to worry about, he's just losing his deciduous baby teeth, and will replace them with bigger adult ones. If you look carefully in his mouth you will notice that his tiny milk teeth are disappearing only to be replaced, which usually starts when the dog is about 4 months old. Sometimes, particularly in smaller breeds, they can retain their baby teeth a little longer which may impede the growth of the permanent ones, just have a vet look over his teeth next time he's in for a check up to make sure that the progression is normal.
Remember to provide him with plenty of chew toys as like a baby who's teething, he'll want to get stuck in to something, preferably not your shoes or furniture...
