Recently I heard that bodybuilding will have the effect of reducing levels of testosterone in the body. Would this have the effect of interfering with develoment and reducing things like facial hair growth?? Cant it be avoided?
    Thanks

it increases the growth hormone in men when ya satart lifting/working out etc.

your body will react to whatever you pump in to it(hormone replacement supplements and the like)

who told ya that or where did ya read that info?

I can only assume it's second hand info/chinese whispers that have some truth to them but have been taking TOTALLY out of context.

If you're taking some form of exogenous testosterone (ie steroids) then your bodies own natural production will shut down. But unless you're juicing it up and not doing any form of PCT, it's not something to worry about.

Any hard training will reduce your test levels a bit - though I doubt if it would interfere noticeably with facial hair growth?? I personally think that vitamin deficiency has alot to do with this - in my experience supplementing your diet with zinc will help alot. Take ZMA when you're training hard and it's all gravy.

Thats not true! Weight training increases test production.
